Alyssa and Derek

If you’ve been following my blog you may remember me posting a contest two months ago where I was going to give away a couples portrait session. The contest was a HUGE hit and I was flooded with emails. Near the deadline of the contest I received an email from a past bride of mine-she submitted a story of her newly engaged niece (who was also a bridesmaid at the wedding two years ago). The story stuck to me and I contacted Alyssa to announce her and Derek winning the contest. It was an awesome feeling.

Last weekend Alyssa, Derek and I met up at Kalamalka Provincial Park for their free portrait, or shall I say, engagement session. It was so great to reconnect after two years. My legs are still store from the long morning hike we took.

I’m pretty excited with these images. I played around with a different style, a more over-exposed technique which a few other photogs may shuns me for but I’m not out to impress other photogs – just my clients and me. Anyways. Here’s a pile of my favourite frames. Enjoy!
