So my new studio space here in Armstrong, B.C. is starting to come together. Still lots to do – like cleaning – but the photo should give you an idea of what the space looked prior to renovation to the current state. I have a butt-load of canvases and prints coming. Can’t wait to hang them all and finish the space.
I can’t believe it’s August already. It feels just like yesterday when LeLoni and I welcomed little Niko into our lives. Now we’re blessed to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary, come this August 22nd, as well as prepare to welcome another little Perison into the family.
The 2011 wedding season has blown my mind. Coming into the season I was working full time and definitely not planning nor expecting to jump into the season full time but with the help of a friendly “lay-off” I began the adventure of a lifetime. I’m floored with the amazing response and very excited that I’ve QUADRUPLED my number of weddings from last year. I cannot wait to finish the season and enter into 2012.
With all said – thank you everyone for the amazing support. Here are a couple images of Niko at 8 months old. He’s starting to walk with the aid of nearby furniture. LeLoni and I give him a few more weeks, a month tops, before he’s running on his own. Who wants to come “babyproof” our house? Anyone? Hello?…

Being a dad is the best feeling ever! I had no clue on what I was getting myself into when LeLoni was pregnant. Holding babies and taking care of them was awkward for me. I’m so, so grateful that everything fell into place and I naturally picked it all up. I’m proud to say I’m king of baby talk!

2010 was a great year full of amazing clients and unreal images. I met so many great people and started some fantastic relationships. Not to mention my wife and me celebrated our 1-year wedding anniversary AND welcomed our son into the world. Pure perfect!
It was difficult picking out my favourite 5 images but it had to be done! I hope you like my picks!
This image isn’t listed under my top #5, even though it’s my absolute favourite, only because it was a personal photo I took of LeLoni and Me and not a client image. It does deserve to get posted though.
